Had dinner at
Mak's Place with my family last night... i blame fai and fuzzy for getting me addicted to the restaurant...haha...the butter prawn and sambal sotong just rocks lah...and the lemon sauce for the lemon chicken dish was pretty darn good... this explained why there were several reserved tables...but we managed to find a table for ourselves and had a blast eating the delicious prawns and sotong...hehe...oh btw, there were loads of cats at that place.. i kinda have a thing for cats...wanted one but my mum woudnt approve of it...due to concerns over hygiene and health (my bro has asthma)... my aunt has 2 of them though...Brought one of them to my house and i heard took a piss at one corner of my house (i wasnt at home at that point of time)... so anyways, one of the cats at
Mak's Place even jumped on an empty chair beside me and it sat there until i left the place...

None of us feel like going straight home after dinner so we decided to go to Mustafa Centre... the last time i went there i didnt really get to explore the whole place..went about only 2 floors...but this time i did covered almost every floor...was at the place from 11 pm to about 2 am...the place was pretty packed even at this hour!! didnt buy much stuff..only bought some chocolates and some sewing stuff for my mum...coz it's cheaper over there..
went over to the perfume/deodorant/air freshener section coz my dad and bro wanted to buy deodorants for themselves..now i'm not much of a perfume/deodorant/air fresherner type person...they kinda make me wanna hurl everytime i smell them, especially those air fresherners you found in taxis...
the good thing about me exploring that section is that i found 2 fragrance that didnt make me giddy and i feel quite comfortable smelling them (which is really rare for me).. both of them are fragrances by celebrities...Britney Spears' Fantasy (in contrast, Curious by Britney Spears smells really bad!) and Heiress by Paris Hilton...i like Fantasy best.. i'm considering buying it coz it really smells wonderful and i really like it ... kept sniffing my wrist on the way home (i always smell perfume from the bottle itself...i never spray it on my wrist coz i'm afraid the smell would be too strong for me to handle and i might throw up...but Fantasy was different..so i did spray it on my wrist..haha)
now the bad thing about me going in the perfume/deodorant/air fresherner section was that when i came out of it, i ended up feeling so woozy from the combination of smell from the hundreds of bottles of perfumes/deodorants/air fresherners that lingered in the air...people were spraying them like nobody's business (my bro is one example)
Another thing that caught my eyes was the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife ..there were so many different types of it on display...there are those for craftsmen, for mechanics, for electricians and there's even a swiss knife for a waiter! if you dont already know..i kinda like looking at Swiss Army Knives...my dad has one and i used to play with it... "play" here means wondering what were the functions of the different pieces of the knife, not pointing it at people and taunting them.....some of the funtions are pretty easy to figure out..like the nail file, the toothpick, nail cutter, the blades, the torchlight and the pen... but i dun really know what the other parts of the knife use for... one of the knife on display has over 25 functions... some has even more! Cool...
I hope by then end of this entry you can add more stuff to your Things i Dont already Know about Sherinah list...hahah! Toddles!
