It has been a very busy week for me....
Monday
Went for a job interview at Singtel (did not get the job..)
Tuesday
Got a job offer from SingPost
Wednesday
1st day of work
(Wed to Sat)
My first week of my new job (yup, i'm employed...finally) was ok lah..
The work that i was assigned to are not too difficult but pretty boring and tiring..
The only thing that i like to do is answering phone calls from customers, photocopying consignment notes and scanning them into the database using that scanner thingy..
what i dont fancy is the timing...my shift starts from 12 noon and ends at 9pm!!!!
Most of my collegues goes home at either 5.30pm or 7pm... after 7pm, the only staff left besides me, is one of the supervisors and this old worker...during this time the work place is pretty peaceful and quiet...which i really really like...hehe...
my busiest time at work would be from 7 pm onwards...loads of customer phone calls/request to answer to and loads of paperwork to be done... and there only 2 of us to do these!!
So by the time i reach home, which i roughly about ten...i'll be so beat up, i cant wait to get to bed! haha..
Saturday
Newcastle 2 - Liverpool 1 (Muahahaha! My dad, a liverpool fan, predicted a liverpool win.. now i have the bragging rights!)Today (Sunday)
Went for my driving lesson today...my last lesson was two weeks ago... so i pretty much forget most of the stuff that i had learnt...haha... so todays lesson was mostly recap... but by the end of the lesson, i was able to recover the lost memory and i managed to learnt some new stuff too...
Oh and i tried to book a few more lessons but i couldnt!!! All slots for feb, mar and apr are fully booked except for a few slots, in which the timing are not favourable to me since i'm working...
2 weeks without lesson and i almost forget everything...imagine how i will fare in the next lesson if i were to go 2 mths without any lesson! Nightmare, i tell you! Managed to book one lesson for next week...am hoping that someone out there will cancel their bookings...i wanna have at least one lesson in march and one in apr... if not then maybe i'll consider switching to a private instructor instead..hmmm... i'll see how things go...
